Words of Love
To my deepest desire,
My heart is set afire,
The blaze inside spreads,
Starting from the heart to the stomach, to the knees,
Consuming the body like a vicious disease,
Kept inside so the mind only knows its power,
A power so great and so massive,
That even the strongest man can't withhold the passive,
Lingering inside the blood, running through the veins,
Beating from the heart,
Nothing can tear this feeling apart,
The mind goes mad,
Nothing will make it go away, it is always there,
Like the wet in the mouth or the knots in the hair,
But odd as it may seem,
This feeling engulfing all that is you,
The body loves, enjoys, and holds true,
For the bomb is only ignited at the thought,
The fire is only started by the presence,
The animal is only set loose by the essence,
The disease is only triggered by the sight of you,
The most powerful commodity known to man,
You make present by just the shade of your tan,
When you leave the room the feeling grows,
Eating away at my yearning sole, my bearing heart, my collapsing legs,
Feeling I am only one of life's little pegs,
Realizing you are the only thing in the world that matters to me,
Because this feeling that is making my mind fly circles like a dove,
Is that beautiful feeling known as love.
